Fudgy Brownies
These brownies deliver maximum chocolate intensity with the perfect fudgy texture.
Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 170g unsalted butter
- 300g granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 30g cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100g chocolate chips (optional)
Method
- Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler until smooth.
- Whisk in sugar until combined, cool slightly.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Fold in flour, cocoa, and salt until just combined.
- Add chocolate chips if using.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until toothpick has few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting.
Texture control
- For fudgier brownies: slightly underbake
- For cakier texture: add extra egg and bake longer
- Don't overmix once flour is added
